ST. ALBERT SLASH ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
The only game of the entire 2017 Esso Cup to go to overtime was the last one. But Tyra Meropoulis made sure it didn’t go any further, scoring at the 14:41 mark of the extra frame for a 1-0 win over the Harfangs du Triolet, making the St. Albert Slash national champions on Saturday night.
